Zealand Institute of Business and Technology is a regional academy in the Zealand region of Denmark where you also find the capital city, Copenhagen.
Besides the Vice-Chancellors and President’s office in the city of Køge, educational programmes and other activities are offered in different regional highly specialized campuses in the Zealand region. Each campus is unique in terms of location and/or profile. The philosophy of Zealand Institute of Business and Technology is to benefit from size but at the same time to be unique with a strong local profile and study environment at each campus.
Today, approximately 3,000 students study at the five campuses. The academy has five international campuses located in the cities of Roskilde, Køge, Næstved, Slagelse and Nykøbing Falster, offering programmes for a steadily growing number of international students as well as danish students.
Zealand Institute of Business and Technology offers a number of international Ordinary Higher Education Programmes within business and IT ranking from, Academy Profession Programmes (Diploma Programmes) to undergraduate programmes (Professional Bachelor Programmes). All programmes are national programmes accredited by the Danish Ministry of Science, Innovation and Higher Education and in accordance with the ECTS-system (European Credit Transfer System). Further, all ordinary higher education programmes are unique in the way that internships and an applied learning approach are a mandatory integrated part of all programmes.
Zealand Institute of Business and Technology also offer a number of Adult/Continuing Higher Education programmes in the field of Leadership. These programmes are for prospective students with a work experience already but wishing to strengthen and develop their leadership skills and qualifications further.

A self-governed public institution
Zealand Institute of Business and Technology is a self-governed public institution under the supervision of the Danish Ministry of Science, Innovation and Higher Education.
Zealand Institute of Business and Technology, ZIBAT was founded by law in 2008 as an academy of higher education under the supervision of the Danish Ministry of Education. In 2011 the Danish Ministry of Education was transformed into the Danish Ministry of Science, Innovation and Higher Education.
