Shanghai student enjoys Danish study environment

Shanghai student Minglei Yang enjoys the fresh air and the learning environment in Denmark.

21-year old Minglei Yang from Shanghai Finance University studies International Sales and Marketing Management at ZIBAT Campus Næstved.

“What I like the most is that the air here is so nice. I have never seen so many stars in the night!,” says Minglei Yang and tells us about her train fair from Næstved to the Campus Roskilde, where she spents the day working with students from her sister programme on Campus Roskilde.

“The air is so clean and everything is so fresh and green. Not at all like in Shanghai,” she tells.

Different learning environment

Minglei Yang is an exchange student for one semester:

“I think it is very professional here. And I like the student environment and the learning methods. The learning method is very different from China. Here we have to be active and participate, and we have a lot of group work. And because of the international environment, we also learn a lot from each other. In traditional teaching the teacher tells you what is right and what is wrong. The teachers do not do that here. Here we are taught to develop our own ideas and to learn from different cultures,” says Minglei Yang.
