Get started at Zealand
Welcome to our new students!
Current Lockdown of Denmark
Due to the current Covid-19 situation in Denmark, we are currently in a widespread lockdown of the Danish society. A series of national measures will apply until the end of February 28, 2021, and even stricter measures will apply until the end of February 7, 2021. Zealand and other institutions are currently facing a physical lockdown — however, we continue to offer teaching and exams online.
Study start at Zealand
Due to the above-mentioned restrictions, Zealand will not be open for physical attendance for study start in February 2021. This means that classes and exams will be online for the first weeks of your studies at Zealand. We will of course do our best to still offer you high quality teaching and be available regarding whatever issues you might meet when starting your studies with us.
If you have any concerns about starting your studies online, you are welcome to contact our student counselling at email@example.com.
You can find more information about being a new student at Zealand here.
We keep our fingers crossed that all the restrictions that we are going through at the moment will make it possible for us to meet in person soon.
Please keep updated on the Covid-19 restrictions
The guidelines regarding who can enter Denmark have been tightened and the Government has imposed a flight ban on transportation of passengers from the entire world who are unable to present a negative COVID-19 test.
Travellers WITHOUT residence and registration with Danish authorities CANNOT enter Denmark unless they have a worthy purpose (studying is no longer a worthy purpose).
The rules regarding a worthy purpose will also be tightened until 7 February 2021.
Travellers WITH a valid Danish residence permit (also students) CAN enter Denmark (bring passport with visa sticker, a copy of your residence permit, and proof of negative COVID-19 test).
At this point the tightened travel guidelines are in effect until 7 February 2021, but they can be extended depending on the Covid situation.
