Academy of Technologies and Business

Campus Næstved

Your study base in Denmark

Næstved is located close to the city centre, by the Suså River and the canal leading towards the sea. This gives your everyday student life a unique setting: central, accessible, and connected to both the city and nature.

Here, students study, work on projects, meet friends, and build their daily routines. You will become part of a modern learning environment with both Danish and international students across different programs. Your experience is shaped not only by your courses, but also by the people you meet, the facilities you use, and the activities you take part in.

Current topics in the classroom

At Zealand Næstved, teaching is connected to important topics shaping society and working life right now. Lecturers work with areas such as sustainability, artificial intelligence, digitalization and innovation, and these themes are brought into teaching through examples, discussions, projects and collaboration with external partners.

This means students do not only learn established theory. They also work with questions that companies, organizations and society are actively trying to solve how to use technology responsibly, how to build more sustainable solutions, how AI changes professional practice, and how new ideas can become practical value.

At Zealand, we expect students to be open-minded and curious about new ways of learning. In return, our lecturers are committed to creating an inclusive and supportive environment where you feel comfortable participating, asking questions, and developing your skills.

Labs where ideas leave the notebook

Næstved gives you access to environments/facilities where you can test ideas, work with technology and connect your studies to real projects.

Friday bar, the unofficial reset button

The Friday bar is one of the easiest ways to meet other students outside class.

It offers a relaxed setting where you can unwind, connect with students from other programs, and build friendships in a more informal way.

Canteen and social spaces

The canteen is a central meeting point on campus.

Here, you can:

• grab a coffee or lunch

• take a break between classes

• meet classmates in an informal setting

The canteen offers fresh and affordable meals, including vegetarian options, and is an important part of daily student life.
