OBJECTIVES OF THE PROGRAMME
ACADEMIC TRACK
The program for the International Week has been developed in order to address multiple objectives and goals:
• The main goal is to facilitate and create a platform/a forum where ZEALAND, together with participating partner institutions, comes together to work with sustainability and sustainable development in education. Through our unity, we aspire to mutually inspire one another in finding ways we can collectively address challenges in educational/institutional contexts through various project configurations. More specifically, our primary aim for this event is to foster various ideas, projects and collaborations within the specified subject area, involving either ZEALAND as an active partner or in other instances where ZEALAND is not involved (where our partner finds their way together).
• The secondary goal is for ZEALAND’s staff members to become better acquainted with our partner institutions, by fostering an event that will lay groundwork for building strong relationships. Therefore, we strive to enhance and strengthen, to a greater extent, refine our partnership so that we can mutually benefit much more for dem.
• Thirdly, our goal is to emphasis internationalization at home by inspiring ZEALAND’s students to explore and engage with our partners, thereby motivating them to pursue mobility opportunities abroad. To achieve success in this endeavour, we will arrange an on-campus event, titled “Meet the World,” providing ZEALAND’S students with the opportunity to interact and engage with partners. These encounters will be formalized either as guest lectures or as meeting with selected groups of students who express an interest in joining a specific institution as a mobility abroad.
Based on the information provided above, we ask participants to join the event by becoming an active participant.
Upon registering for the event, you’ll have the opportunity to indicate whether you’d like to contribute input and share your perspective on the theme as a “keynote speaker”. We also ask participants to join the event as guest lecturer, by offering up to 4 thematical lectures within a specific academic discipline.
NON-ACADEMIC TRACK
ZEALAND’s International Week for non-academic staff is a strategic initiative aimed at fostering collaboration, cultural exchange, and professional development among professionals working in administrative roles. This event provides a unique platform for administrative staff to connect, share experiences, and gain insights into best practices.
By focusing on professional development, cross-cultural understanding, networking, job shadowing, diversity and inclusion, this event aims to create a positive and impactful experience for administrative professionals. With this event we wish to contribute to the growth and success of administrative teams, while fostering a more connected and collaborative global community.
