Build your career while you study
Working while studying is a natural part of student life in Denmark. It allows you to gain professional experience, support yourself financially, and better understand the Danish workplace culture.
As an EU/EEA student, you have the possibility to work alongside your studies while still receiving Danish student support (SU), if you meet the requirements (please note that eligibility for the SU grant applies only to full-time degree students).
Many students begin with part-time jobs that may not be directly related to their studies, for example in retail, service, or hospitality, as a way to earn money and gain experience in the Danish workplace. Over time, as you develop your skills and build a network, you will have the opportunity to find more study-relevant jobs.
The local municipality will also support international students in finding work and settling into the Danish labor market.
At Zealand, your education is closely connected to industry, helping you combine your studies with real-world work experience and prepare for your future career.
