When you have found the programme that you wish to apply for, you need to apply online through the correct application portal.
When applying for AP programmes between 1st of February and 15th of March, you have you have to apply through www.optagelse.dk.
If you do not have a Danish CPR-number (ID-number), you must print out, sign and submit the Signature Page to apply@zealand.dk before 15th of March at 12.00 noon. Your application process is not completed until the Signature Page is received at the Admissions Office. Please read this for more information.
When applying for top-up programmes or available places (after 28th of July) at AP programmes, you have to apply through Zealand’s application portal.
Please note that you can also apply through one of our agents or representatives who are all able to assist you throughout the admission process. You can find a list of agents and representatives here.
On Zealand’s Admission Portal you will find status on your application.
The main part of communication regarding the status of your application will be sent through the admission portal. Therefore, it is very important that you remember to activate your profile at Zealand’s Admission Portal as soon as possible.
Tuition fee applies for certain non-EU applicants depending on their residence status. All students who are required to get a residence permit for studies need to pay a tuition fee for studying at Zealand.
The tuition fee is programme specific. When a fee-paying student is admitted to a programme, the specific programme fee is stated in the admission notice issued to the student upon admission.
International students residing outside Denmark and admitted to one of the international programmes must always prepay the tuition fee for the first academic year (two semesters). International students already residing in Denmark must prepay the tuition fee for the first semester.

When you apply for a programme at Zealand, you must make sure you fulfil the admission requirements. Please note, besides the general admission requirements that applies for all our programmes there are also specific requirements for each programme regarding the level of English, Mathematics and Economics.
You can read more about both the general as well as the specific requirements here.
When sending in your application, it needs to contain certain documents of information in order for us to see that you fulfil the admission requirements. We also use these documents of information to make the evaluation of the applications we receive.
Your application must contain the following documents of information:
- A copy of your diploma in original language
- A copy of your diploma translated into English (verified by your school or a certified translator)
- A transcript of records/grades
- Documentation of specific requirements of English and Mathematic respectively
Your application can also contain the following documents of information:
- A motivational letter (is highly recommended)
- Diplomas from other relevant education
- Documented relevant work experience
- Documented volunteering, travels abroad and military service (for more than 3 months)
All documentation is only considered valid if it is signed and verified by the parties concerned (e.g. schools, companies, etc.)
