Outgoing exchange

Do you dream of exploring the world while pursuing your education?

Go on a study abroad semester or take your internship abroad

Zealand students have excellent opportunities to broaden both their academic and professional experience through international activities. You can choose to:

  • take part in a study abroad semester
  • completing an international internship
  • gain international experience through an internship after graduation

You can choose the option that fits you best, and in some cases combine more than one option during your studies.

You can also decide whether to take your international experience within Europe or further abroad, depending on your interests and goals. This gives you the flexibility to tailor your experience and get the most out of your time abroad.

There are many great reasons to go abroad during your studies – perhaps you dream of experiencing a new culture, meeting new people, and strengthening your language skills. Or maybe the appeal lies in boosting your CV with international experience and building a global network. One thing is certain: an experience abroad will be an adventure of a lifetime!

Who can go abroad?

All students at Zealand can go abroad as part of their education, provided they meet the following conditions:

• You must be enrolled as a full-time student and actively engaged in your studies.

• Your study abroad experience must not extend the duration of your program (i.e., your stay abroad should not delay your graduation).

• Your stay abroad must be credit transferrable (i.e., the courses/internship you take abroad should replace the courses/internship you would otherwise take at Zealand).

PLAN AHEAD

If you’re considering studying or interning abroad, careful planning is essential as the process takes time. Ideally, you should begin the application and preparation process at least six months before your intended start date.
