DAY-BY-DAY PROGRAMME

At Zealand we have organized our academic programs into departments based on disciplines. Common departments include those for IT, Business and Technical. Each department is responsible for a set of related academic programmes. We have therefore structured the 3-day workshop (Tuesday-Thursday) accordingly to our intern structure, i.e.:

  • IT department includes academic program within Computer Science, Digital Concept Development, Multimedia Design and Communication, Web Development, etc.
  • Technical department includes academic program within Architectural Technology and Construction, Agro Business and Landscape Management, Electrical Engineering, Food technology, Process Technology, Automotive technology, etc.
  • Business department includes academic program within Marketing Management, Service Management, Financial Management, Commerce Management, Event Management, International Sales and Marketing Management, Innovation and Entrepreneurship, Business and Public Administration, Logistics Management, etc.

ACADEMIC TRACK

MONDAY, 22nd APRIL, ZEALAND Campus Roskilde:

Welcome by ZEALAND and the Rector of ZEALAND, Mr. Rasmus Helleberg Frimodt.

Joint academic/non-academic programmes where we set the agenda of the week: Sustainability and Sustainable development in Higher Education. The agenda will be set via keynote speakers and various inputs serving as inspiration. Besides, we will focus on getting to know each other a little better in various ways.

The day will conclude with a “Discover Roskilde” tour followed by a networking dinner.

TUESDAY, 23rd APRIL, ZEALAND Campus Køge:

Complimentary bus transport will be offered from ZEALAND Roskilde to ZEALAND Køge and back again.

The main programme of the day will focus on Sustainability within IT education programmes and will be a combination of keynote speaks, workshops and discussions throughout the day in Køge.

Alternative programme option; Guest lectures at ZEALAND Campus Roskilde or ZEALAND Campus Næstved, for participants indicating an interest in offering guest lectures.

The evening will be off and no official programme arranged.

WEDNESDAY, 24th APRIL, ZEALAND Campus Næstved:

Complimentary bus transport will be offered from ZEALAND Roskilde to ZEALAND Næstved and back again.

The main programme of the day will focus on Sustainability within technical education programmes and will be a combination of keynote speaks, workshops and discussions throughout the day in Næstved.

Alternative programme option; Guest lectures at ZEALAND Campus Roskilde or ZEALAND Campus Køge, for participants indicating an interest in offering guest lectures.

The evening will be off and no official programme arranged.

THURSDAY, 25th APRIL, ZEALAND Campus Roskilde:

The main programme of the day will focus on Sustainability within business education programmes and will be a combination of keynote speaks, workshops and discussions throughout the day in Roskilde.

Alternative programme option; Guest lectures at ZEALAND Campus Køge or ZEALAND Campus Køge, for participants indicating an interest in offering guest lectures.

Evening programme – networking and dinner (venue to be confirmed).

FRIDAY, 26th APRIL, ZEALAND Campus Roskilde:

The programme is merged for both academic and non-academic staff participants.

In the morning, our attention will be directed towards the outcomes and conclusions from the week-long event. It is crucial for us to meticulously follow up on these outcomes to ensure that the event sets the foundation for cooperation projects to be pursued post-event.

In the late morning and during the afternoon, ZEALAND will offer all participants a complimentary sightseeing tour, giving the participants the opportunity to explore some of the attractions in our beautiful region of Zealand. We anticipate concluding the event around 5:00 PM in the afternoon, saying thank you and farewell to all participants.

NON-ACADEMIC TRACK

MONDAY, 22nd APRIL, ZEALAND Campus Roskilde:

The primary focus of the day will revolve around onboarding of new students and the formulation of strategies for continuing education. Our agenda will be organized with a blend of presentations, workshops, and discussions taking place in Køge throughout the day.

The evening will be off and no official programme arranged.

WEDNESDAY, 24th APRIL, ZEALAND Campus Næstved:

Complimentary bus transport will be offered from ZEALAND Roskilde to ZEALAND Næstved and back again.

The day’s agenda will incorporate job-shadowing opportunities, offering participants valuable insights into a particular profession. This will enable you to enhance your comprehension of the tasks, responsibilities, and skills associated with that role.

The evening will be off and no official programme arranged.

THURSDAY, 25th APRIL, ZEALAND Campus Roskilde:

The day will be concentrated on challenging topics with students with special needs and student involvement/engagement. Our schedule will be structure with a mix of presentations, workshops, and discussions held in Roskilde throughout the day.

Evening programme – networking and dinner (venue to be confirmed).
